By Cynthia A. Noble

Do you ever sit down to eat breakfast as a family? Is your family so big that you just don't find the time to eat breakfast together because everyone has different morning schedules? Is it just easier to grab a pop tart and go?

It is a great thing to be able to sit down and eat together as a family. Some families are able to do this once and a while for dinner, but breakfast? Forget it. It's hard to find the time with a big family.

Try sitting down for breakfast at least once a week and you could probably help your family to grow closer together. Make a breakfast that smells delicious and you should be able to lure in your family.

As you begin to make pancakes for a big family, make sure you get all the right tools. If you have good tools, you can make it a lot easier for yourself to make them.

A griddle will probably be your most important tool. You are going to be make a lot of pancakes, so you will want to have a large surface to cook on. A griddle can give you a pretty large surface.

An electric griddle that you plug in and put on your counter can save you more space. This could allow you to put another griddle directly on the stove therefore giving you more cooking space.

If you really want to save a lot of time and get them cooked up fast, consider using a pancake mix. This can save you a lot of time from having to measure out all the ingredients and is great for double batches.

Enjoy making your pancakes and round up the whole family. Do it for a Sunday brunch and make sure that you all enjoy yourselves. Have fun and I hope you love your pancakes!
