Interesting Advices For Grilling Moist Chicken

If you have never tried grilling chicken before, you should because it is really entertaining and fun. Before you can grill the chicken into delicious and tender meats, you need to understand the secrets to cooking your chicken at the right temperature without burning or undercooking it. You should also know that you will not get a moist and juicy chicken just by putting a frozen chicken on the grill.

Many of the grilled chicken recipes require that you marinate the chicken first before grilling. If you're going to use a marinade, make sure that you let the chicken marinate for several hours before grilling. If you're simply can't afford to wait so long, you can always use an injector to get the flavor deep inside the meat. Most of the grilled chicken recipes will work best on both indoor grill and outdoor grill so you can be rest assured that you can grill your chicken over charcoal too.

It is highly advisable that you do not pierce the chicken before starting to grill it because the fat will drip out and catch fire. Be sure to use tongs and keep the chicken moving. If you do have a flare up, quickly move the chicken to the upper rack or off the grill until the fire is out.

The best way to reduce the risk of having a flare up is to trim all unnecessary fat from the foods you grill, including oils in marinades or sauces. If you're using charcoal, make sure that there is no flames because they will burn the chicken. Let the coal turn gray about 1/2 through the coal first before placing the chicken on the grill.

Temperature around 230F-250F is the perfect heat for grilling chicken and the cooking time should take no more than one hour. Make sure that you turn the chicken pieces every ten minutes so that both sides can be cooked evenly. If you're going to use BBQ sauce, make sure that you add it ten minutes before the chicken reached its cooking time.

To check if the chicken is fully cooked, slice into the thickest part of the chicken as the juices should run clear. Undercooked chicken contain salmonella so make sure your chicken is fully cooked before serving it. After the chicken is done, remove them from the grill and let them sit for a while to set the juice inside so that your chicken will be moister.
