How to Make Delicious Silver Dollar Pancakes

What kind of pancakes do you like to make? Basic, plain pancakes are delicious when they are fluffy and golden brown and they are smothered in butter and drizzled with syrup. You could also make banana, chocolate, or blueberry pancakes, or you could make silver dollar pancakes.

What are silver dollar pancakes? They are really just basic pancakes that are made smaller. They are about the size of a silver dollar from the ocean. If you were to get pancakes at a restaurant, you would get a stack with a similar width to a small cantaloupe.

The size of a silver dollar pancake is more about the same width as an orange or apple. They are sized like silver dollars from the ocean. So then, how are silver dollar pancakes made? Usually people just use a basic pancake recipe and then make them small.

If you are thinking about making tiny, delicious silver dollar pancakes, this is how you can do it really easily. First, look for a great basic pancake recipe. You can use one that you use all the time and love or look for one with rave review from the internet or friends.

You could also use a recipe that is made for silver dollar pancakes. Like I already said, some of these are just basic pancakes, but others are different. Some are completely different by still have a great texture and flavor.

Follow the recipe you have according to the instructions. Mix the wet and dry ingredients separately and then combine them together. Mix it well but don't overbeat it. You want fluffy, not tough, pancakes.

After you have the batter ready, heat the griddle to about medium high and lightly great it with butter, oil, or using a nonstick cooking spray. Be careful using butter because it might burn. Then, pour the batter to for tiny pancakes the size you want on the pan.

These pancakes are smaller, so you don't need to cook them as long. It should take less than a minute. Experiment at first and then you'll get the hang of it. Serve warm with butter and syrup and enjoy!
