Fruit in a Pancake Recipe

By Asher T. Jones

Do you ever feel like eating cake for breakfast? Sometimes you just get the urge, right? You probably don't often give in for fear of feeling guilty. You can get around that with pancakes because they are essentially cake for breakfast, but it's allowed.

Pancakes are very delicious and not to hard to make. There are a few tricks to remember to make sure they come out right, but besides that, they are very easy to make and don't require too much time.

For example, be gentle when you mix the batter. Don't beat it or you will end up with tough, flat pancakes. You want golden brown fluffy pancakes. Tough should be nowhere near pancakes.

Sometimes basic pancakes can be kind of boring. The same old, same old. How can you jazz them up and make them just a bit more tasty and extra special?

One great idea is fruit. Fruit is great just plain for breakfast or added to just about any breakfast food short of eggs and bacon. You can't go wrong adding fruit in some way to your pancakes.

Do you like blueberry pancakes? They have the blueberries right in the pancakes. You can do this with just about any kind of fruit. Just pick a type of fruit, if necessary, cut it into smaller pieces, and then throw it in the batter.

The fruit doesn't have to go inside the pancakes. You can put them on top and they would taste just as good. Slice of some strawberries or throw on some other kind of berries. Add some sliced bananas of you like.

If you love fruit and you love pancakes, you must try the combination. It might just taste so much better than you ever could imagine. Try all kinds of fruit and different mixes and see how it tastes mixing it all together!
