Have you ever traveled to Hawaii and tasted their delicious Macaroni Salad? This is a must at every luau and is surprisingly easy to make at your home in the mainland. You probably already have all of the ingredients you need to make Hawaiian Macaroni Salad. And, if you have 30 minutes of time, you can make it very quickly for your family to enjoy. Don't sweat it though if you don't have all the ingredients. A 10 minute trip to the grocery store is all you need to pick up any missing ingredients and once you get home, you can turn on your favorite sitcom and by the time it's over, you'll have delicious Hawaiian Macaroni Salad for your family.

First step, go to the grocery store and purchase these inexpensive ingredients (you may have many of these at home already): carrots, macaroni, mayo, pepper, salt, and milk.

Second step, cook the macaroni for 8 minutes or so, or until tender. This is the key to your salad because the texture and softness of the macaroni is crucial.

Third, add the diced carrots, mayo, and milk to the macaroni. Add salt & black pepper as you like. You may have to add more mayonnaise if desired, since this is a personal taste.

Fourth step, chill in refrigerator until cold and when ready to serve you may want to add more mayonnaise.

The last step is to get creative and maybe add ham, peas, boiled eggs or tuna. Try out different additions and see what your family likes!

You will never try another Hawaiian Macaroni Salad recipe again. Your family will beg for this at least once a week and it only takes 30 minutes to prepare. This recipe is so easy and delicious that your family will be happy you tried this recipe.
