George Foreman Knocks Out The Fat

By Mike Pit

Many people claim that barbecue has the same flavor as long as the same ingredients are used, but the experts on barbecue and other lovers of it would hardily disagree. You need to understand that any barbecue will have a different flavoring depending on the grill used even when the exact seasonings are put on it. This is due to the fact that other factors figure in on flavor, and one of the most important ones is what grill type is being utilized.

It takes experience, talent, and skill to make a delicious barbecue concoction that truly overwhelms your family and friends.

Grilling is almost always dependent on the weather. While it's possible to grill in the rain, you probably don't want to work like that. And the same goes for the cold winter months in the north. It's tough to keep the grill up to temperature once it gets below a certain temperature. But if your a fan of grilled food, you do have an option. The George Foreman electric grill will keep you out of the elements.

This grill has had incredible success since it's launch in 1994, selling over 80 million units. The wild success they've had is because of its pure simplicity in design and its convenience to the consumer. It fits right on the counter top, which means its right there begging to be used each day. Apart from other indoor cooking appliances, this design emphasizes channeling away the fat drippings so the end result is a juicy piece of lean meat. The only other way to get that result is on an outdoor grill.

The very first model of the George Foreman Grill was made in the design of a clamshell and had the following features: A Teflon coated heating surface which meat did not stick to. This surface allowed the fat to drain off the meat. Runs on electricity. No temperature settings for uncomplicated cooking. Following models of this grill had extra features such as grilling plates that could be removed for ease in cleaning.

There was nothing quite like it went it was introduced to the world, and there was nothing quite like the marketing either. The maker of the grill, Salton, Inc., partnered with the ex-boxing champ, George Foreman. This turned out to be a very profitable venture for both parties, watching more and more dollars roll in each time a new model was released. The catch phrase "Knock Out The Fat" was memorable, but it also sent a message that this product promoted healthy eating...and there are many testimonials supporting that message.

The success of the product allowed them to develop variations on the them, including new products such as broilers and blenders. They've set the standard for convenience and healthy eating.

As healthy and convenient as it is, there are some that will snub their noses because it can't reproduce the smokey taste and the juicy tenderness of a steak perfectly grilled outdoors.

Just in case you didn't know where to find a George Foreman grill

It would be easier to state where you can't purchase the George Foreman grill. They are so incredibly popular that they are sold in all sorts of stores, I even found them in my local grocery store the other day.

George Foreman is a popular personality, the grill he pitches is a clever design and the marketers took advantage of this early on. And to this day, they take every opportunity to put the product in front of as many consumers as possible. When you have a successful product, you can afford to take it to the next level.

With the brand firmly planted in our brains, the product sells itself well on the Internet as well. People will actually go looking for it when they are ready to buy. Being such a small configuration, it can easily be shipped anywhere in the work. Consumers interested in getting the best price are going to take advantage of the this medium.
