Every room in our home is important, but none more so than kitchens. It is the one room that everyone has to visit. The room where everyone gathers together on a regular basis. It may also be the room that gets the most thought and planning.

A lot of is spent on the meals we prepare in them. We want them to be enjoyed by our family members and to taste great. Even more time is spent on shopping for this food. The kitchen usually gets more are and cleaning than any other room. Both usability and quality is considered when we pick appliances.

The kitchen is the brightest room in our home. We would never dream of keeping them dark and unwelcoming like some other rooms. More of our effort is spent on getting them to look just right than what we spend on any other space. Everyone that walks into your kitchen feels warm and welcome.

They are often intended to to be the most notable room in our home. The color scheme and decor is very carefully chosen. Frequently, they are the one room we like to set apart, rather than tie-in with the rest. We give them a homey look, so people can relax while they are in it.

Maybe more than any other room, they must be easy to use and completely functional. No one wants to have to stop what they are doing to have to hunt for the item they need. Islands and cabinets are all placed carefully, with this detail kept in mind. They can have no wasted space, every drawer must serve a specific purpose.

Everything is chosen to provide years of service and look fantastic. We plan every purchase from the coffee pot and the refrigerator to the dishwasher and the freezer. As a matter of fact, Green Mountain has over 100 different types of coffee available under various names.

Since Green Mountain Coffee makes only Keurig K-Cups, they're not going to fit in the standard coffee pod brewer. Green Mountain likely won't ever make a normal coffee pod, as you would find in the Home Cafe system, so the standard coffee pod machine will probably remain out of luck. This is because, a few years ago, Green Mountain Coffees actually bought Keurig. It's quite likely that this is the whole reason that K-Cups have been such a hit, even though they're different from normal pod coffee makers. If you're really bent on making it work, or if you just enjoy making your own coffee pods, you could always purchase Green Mountain's loose coffee and do it that way.

Does Green Mountain Make Anything Other Than Coffee?

Although you may have to look under some of their other labels, Green Mountain does produce items other than coffee. Their hot chocolates are under the name of Cafe Escapes, while their teas live under the Celestial Seasonings name. However, just like with their coffees, these can only be had as a K-Cup, so unless you own or intend to buy one, you'll have to go with a different brand.

You aren't going to find any perfect cookware for every food. Every type of cookware has their own good and bad points. The best compromise you can probably make a stainless steel though. For both price and heat conductivity stainless steel falls right in the middle. The durability of stainless steel as well known, and it will not react with any type of food that you cook, and as far as cleaning goes it isn't too bad. You probably won't find any better cookware than the type that has stainless steel on the outside with aluminum bonded in between the two layers.

In conclusion, you're going to need to spend some money if you want some quality cookware, but you don't necessarily need the most expensive set. The ideal selection in my opinion is probably just a real nice stainless steel cookware set with some extras like a nonstick frying pan and a copper bowl with maybe a couple extra items that you might like.
